Peter Edmunds is an inspiration. It makes me wonder. --If I sincerely ask God to use me, where he has me at this present time in my life, to help those in need where ever he chooses, what wonderful challene will he have for me to do? There are needs in our own back yards, as well as around the world just awaiting to be uncovered by a heart of compassion and addressed with willing and consecrated hands and feet. I am amazed at how God is using Peter Edmunds to help others discover their gifts and find the satisfaction of using those gifts to bless those in need --to also become instruments of God. So -- he is " brimming with ideas to combat poverty and improve life in the town .... working with, not doing for the people." He's got something there; we need to also think outside of the box and inspire those around use to do the same. Lord may this be a year of new beginnings, a year when we truly go about doing good, ---praying, looking, seeking, hunting day after day after day for one little opportunity after another to be Jesus to someone, even in the smallest way. Who knows what God can do through an empty, broken, and yielded vessel who joins with other empty, broken, and yielded vessels to make a difference.
